Alan Nickell is the owner and operations leader behind Vision Collision. Vision is a growing collision repair business with three locations across Idaho and Montana. He began his automotive career in 1999 at a dealership body shop, starting from the ground up as a shop hand—cleaning the shop, assisting the team, and prepping vehicles for paint. That early experience built a strong work ethic and a deep respect for the craftsmanship it takes to restore a vehicle properly.
As his skills progressed, Alan moved into both custom and production paint work, where he found what he loved most: working with his hands, solving problems, and seeing the transformation that comes from doing the job the right way. While he enjoyed the work itself, he always had a bigger goal in mind—building a business known for outstanding customer service, clear communication, and quality repairs that people can trust.
In 2016, Alan opened his first shop and gained firsthand experience in what it takes to grow and lead a successful operation. Since then, the business has expanded to three locations in two states, and Alan now oversees day-to-day operations across all of them. He remains focused on building strong teams, maintaining high standards, and continuing to expand into new markets while delivering the best possible experience for every customer.
