What services do you offer?

Do you offer free estimates?
Yes. We offer free estimates at all three locations—Idaho Falls, Pocatello, and Missoula. You can stop by during business hours, or schedule an appointment online. We’ll assess the damage and give you an honest recommendation with no obligation.
Do you offer any warranties for your work?
Yes. Every repair at Vision Collision comes with a lifetime warranty on paint and auto body work for as long as you own the vehicle. Manufacturer warranty applies to all parts. If anything related to our repair doesn’t hold up, bring it back and we’ll make it right. The warranty is non-transferable—it covers the original vehicle owner at the time of repair
Do you offer custom paint jobs?
Yes. We offer custom paint work including classic flames, ghost flames, custom graphics, and full color changes. Whether it’s a show car, daily driver, or a vintage restoration, we can work with you to get the look you’re after. Contact your nearest location to discuss your project.
What is your payment policy?
Insurance repairs: Your deductible is due when the vehicle is ready for pickup. If your insurance company mails you a check for the repair, we collect that check upon receipt. Your deductible amount is between you and your insurance provider.
Self-pay repairs: 50% of the parts cost is due upfront, with the remaining balance due at pickup.
We do not offer monthly payment plans. If you have questions about a specific situation, talk to your estimator—we’re happy to walk through the details.
How long will the repairs take?
It depends on the extent of the damage and parts availability. Minor repairs like small dents and scratches can often be completed in a few days. Larger collision repairs take longer depending on structural damage, parts ordering, and insurance processes.

When you bring your vehicle in for an estimate, we’ll give you an honest timeline for your specific repair. If anything changes during the process—like hidden damage discovered once panels are removed—we’ll let you know right away. You won’t be left guessing.
Do I have to use my insurance company’s vendor?
No. You have the legal right to choose any body shop you want. Your insurance company may recommend a preferred vendor, but you are not required to use them. In many cases, insurance-preferred shops prioritize volume and may do the minimum work needed to close the claim.
At Vision Collision, we advocate for repairs done right—using proper procedures, quality parts, and manufacturer specifications. We work directly with your insurance company so you don’t have to fight that battle yourself.

Who pays for a rental car if I need one?
That depends on your insurance policy. Some policies include rental car coverage, some don’t. If your policy covers it, your insurance company will typically arrange a rental for you. If it doesn’t, you’ll need to arrange and pay for one yourself.

We can help coordinate rental car setup through our preferred vendors to save you time. If you’re unsure about your rental coverage, check your policy before an accident happens—don’t wait to find out.
Are you a direct repair facility for all insurance companies?
We are a Direct Repair Program (DRP) partner with several major insurance carriers. But whether or not we’re in your insurer’s network, we work with all insurance companies. We’ll communicate directly with your adjuster, submit estimates and documentation, and handle the process from start to finish.
Bottom line: bring your vehicle to Vision Collision regardless of who your insurance company is. We’ll take it from there.
What locations do you have?
Vision Collision has three locations:
Some specialty services are location-specific. Our Idaho Falls shop is Tesla Approved, and our Missoula location offers glass replacement and auto refinishing services. Contact your nearest shop to confirm service availability.
Do you repair Tesla and other electric vehicles?
Yes. Our Idaho Falls location is an official Tesla Approved Body Shop—the only one in Eastern Idaho. Our technicians are factory-trained to work on Tesla’s aluminum body structure, high-voltage systems, and advanced driver-assistance sensors. We use genuine Tesla parts and follow Tesla’s exact repair procedures to keep your warranty intact.
We also service other electric vehicles including Rivian, Ford Mach-E, Ford F-150 Lightning, Chevrolet Bolt, and more. Pocatello-area Tesla owners can coordinate through our Pocatello shop at (208) 244-7886.
How will I know the status of my repair?
We keep you informed at every step of the process. You’ll receive updates at step in the process so you can see the progress on your vehicle. If anything changes—like hidden damage discovered during teardown or a parts delay—we communicate that right away. You shouldn’t have to call and chase down answers about your own vehicle, and with us, you won’t.
